On January 13, 2022, the first tunnel of Daxiangshan of Fuzhou Binhai Express Line F1 was successfully completed, which is the first large-diameter single-shield TBM used in the urban rail mountain tunnel in China.
The first tunnel of Daxiangshan has a total length of 4.53 kilometers, with a super-hard rock formation of 120-220 MPa. Its hardness is six or seven times that of ordinary concrete. It has the characteristics of fast wear of TBM cutters and a high risk of shield jamming. It is also the longest and hardest mountain tunnel in Fuzhou rail transit at present. . In response to this, this section is constructed with a specially customized 8.6m large-diameter single-shield TBM (full section hard rock tunnel boring machine).
After the TBM was launched in November 2020, due to the high hardness of the rock and the rapid consumption of TBM cutter bits, the construction progress was seriously affected. Litian temporarily received the TBM cutters supply notice from the project department in March 2021. In the initial stage, the 30 TBM disc cutters supplied by our company were unanimously affirmed by the project department, and then the project department and our company carried out in-depth cooperation on the provision of TBM cutters and on-site cutter maintenance.
The project took 13 months to complete, setting a new record for Fuzhou rail transit construction, and achieving a record of 23.4 meters in a single day and 454 meters in a single month.
